Associate Instructional Professor

Dr. Moskowitz has been teaching on the topics of health behavior, health communication, research methods, health program creation, and health program evaluation since getting his PhD in 2007 from Northwestern University. In addition to his years teaching over 65 course sections, he has published 50+ peer-reviewed articles on HIV/STI prevention, sexual and psychological health of sexual minorities, and the relationship between social identity and risk-taking behaviors. He sits on the editorial board of Archives of Sexual Behavior (IF: 4.50) and serves as the Secretary-Treasurer of the International Academy of Sex Research. Dr. Moskowitz has held academic positions at the University of Texas at San Antonio, New York Medical College, Northwestern University, and now, the University of Chicago. He looks forward to advising and educating MPH students and working with them to develop career trajectories practicing public health.
