Congratulations to Mingyu Qi on receiving the Paul Meier award!
Mingyu Qi was designated the winner of the PHS 2025 Paul Meier award for outstanding quantitative work by a doctoral student. Mingyu is in his final year of the PHS PhD program, focusing on health economics. His work applies rigorous econometric models to large claims datasets to answer critical questions in health policy, particularly those related to use and outcomes of long-term and post-acute care.
